Ahmad Wasfi

Ahmad has over 5 years of business development experience. He is an inventor and entrepreneur. Prior to starting Hike101, Ahmad founded Lerna Technology Inc, a search engine of events. He has worked as a software lead and architect for several software companies. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in computer science. Ahmad has been actively involved in the outdoor community organizing, teaching, and guiding since 2002.

Rabah Shihab

Rabah is a software engineer and entrepreneur with over 20 year
experience developing and managing new media and enterprise software
projects. Rabah wrote his first computer game (Babylonian Twins) in the
early 90s.
He founded and led Cosmos Software, a pioneering new media firm
with over 30 employees. Rabah currently leads the development of Oracle's
XML Publisher product within PeopleSoft Enterprise. He also runs
Cosmos Interactive, a new media company focusing on emerging mobile
and social gaming experience. Rabah is a certified Project Management
Professional.

In 2002 Steve co-founded Wanderung.ca, one of the most active outdoor activity groups in Vancouver, and has remained an active board member since. He has 10 years IT industry experience, and currently co-ordinates international IT deployments for a major cell phone manufacturer. He has a diploma of Tech in Business and Computers, and degree in Psychology. Currently Steve is embarking upon writing a recreational cycling guide book. Steve kayaks, cycles, and enjoys "bagging" entire hiking guide books cover to cover.
